Security Upgrades

Courtroom Barriers

The installation of ballistic grade plastic in this courtroom was part of extensive security upgrades to handle high profile trials. So, to isolate the courtroom from the gallery, we used ballistic grade plastic to create a safer environment. Custom machined to fit from railing to ceiling, every panel at the front of the gallery is more than 1 inch thick. Spanning the full width of the courtroom to protect witnesses, prosecutors, defendants, lawyers, courtroom staff and the judge. Made from the same material, vertical ribbing adds support where the panels join while preventing blind spots. The defendant’s box is also protected by ballistic grade plastic that is even thicker. Because we work closely with architects, engineers and contractors, your team can be assured the final product will meet all specifications. And you can be sure it will look great when completed.

Our plastics fabrication expertise makes us the right choice to help provide security upgrades whether for government or private installations. We have the experience to get the job done right. Click here to find out how we can help with your security upgrades.

To clean acrylic, PETG or polycarbonate use a mild dish soap and water solution. Wipe with a soft cloth. DO NOT use paper towels, dry cloth or other abrasive material. This may scratch the surface. It could also set up a static charge causing dust to stick to the surface again. Other products such as Novus #1 Antistatic (buy on Amazon), Brillianize (buy on Amazon), Methyl Hydrate or Isopropyl Alcohol can be used. But you must avoid areas with bends or polished areas, as this can cause crazing or cracks in the materialDo not use cleaners that have Ammonia. Cleaning in a dishwasher is also not recommended.
