Offcuts

As a custom plastics fabrication company, we don’t often have extra items on hand. But sometimes we do have jobs where the size of a part will leave part of a sheet unused, called an offcut. If you have a project that requires smaller parts that fit on our offcuts, we take that into consideration and try to give you a reduced price depending on quantities & fabrication processes. And to be honest, sometimes working with smaller offcuts can increase production time when there are lots of parts involved. When we are unable to use these offcuts for an extended period, we sort and recycle all of our plastic materials. That doesn’t mean you won’t find a deal. Contact us to find out.

To clean acrylic, PETG or polycarbonate use a mild dish soap and water solution. Wipe with a soft cloth. DO NOT use paper towels, dry cloth or other abrasive material. This may scratch the surface. It could also set up a static charge causing dust to stick to the surface again. Other products such as Novus #1 Antistatic (buy on Amazon), Brillianize (buy on Amazon), Methyl Hydrate or Isopropyl Alcohol can be used. But you must avoid areas with bends or polished areas, as this can cause crazing or cracks in the materialDo not use cleaners that have Ammonia. Cleaning in a dishwasher is also not recommended.
